Edward Morra, who is better known as Eddie among his so called friends, is an American writer. He lives in NEW YORK CITY. He is about to meet the deadline to turn in his new book, but he has a problem-he didn't even start to write it.
One day he meets his ex-wife's brother, who's name is Vernon. In his teens Vernon was a kind of drug dealer.
After a long and awkward conversation Vernon tells that he has a medicine, that has already passed all the tests and about to appear on the drug store's shelfs. He insists that this medicine will help Eddie to overcome all the difficulties he has with his book. After thinking a little Eddie swallows this pill and starts to see the world in a different way, having come home he finishes his book in one day and hands it in much earlier the daedline....
